Singapore’s location on the major sea route between India and China. Singapore was founded as a British trading post on the Strait of Malacca in 1819. Towering skyscrapers replace the colonial town he designed, and modern expressways cover the tracks of bullock carts that once led from the harbor to the commercial district and the countryside beyond. Singapore is the most preferred holiday destination for families in recent time because Singapore offers to travellers of all ages. Singapore is the perfect getaway for every traveller. Offshore islands are used for recreation parks, oil refineries, and military training base but Despite the scarcity of land for real estate, the government has worked to maintain and expand the island’s parks, gardens, and other green spaces. In Singapore, separate areas were set aside for the various ethnic groups of the time: Malays, Chinese, Arabs, Bugis, and Europeans. Two
most enduring symbols of Singapore are the Raffles Hotel and the Merlion Park. The Volcanoland, the Singapore science center, the singapore discovery center, snow city, the traditional Malay town, very famous Jurong birdpark, oceanarium are the places where you and your family will enjoy. Shopping malls and night life attracts people the most. One of the unifying factors is the English language, selected as the medium for educational instruction both because of its neutrality in the eyes of the three dominant ethnic groups and because of its position as the international language of business, science, and technology.

Capital of Scotland is Edinburgh. Edinburgh is very beautiful city but there are also other nice cities like Glasgow, St Andrews and Aberdeen. Currency of Scotland is Pound Sterling. Most international airlines including the British Airways fly to Edinburgh and Glasgow. Visitor needs a UK visa to visit Scotland.
Scotland is part of the United Kingdom and not England. It is important to remember this since the Scots are very nationalistic and do not like much being part of the United Kingdom as well as various graffiti scribbled across the country will remind you. To call them English or to say something related to England will cause deep offense in Scotland.
Scotland ’s complex history is the boundaries between the two are blurred. Often clans and sects who have not forgotten what the others did to them 300 years ago tend to settle scores on the football field since actual murder means 14 years without option. A typical example is the fierce rivalry between the Protestant Glasgow Rangers and the Catholic Glasgow Celtics. As a visitor, it is advisable not to get into bitter feuds that go back many centuries. So, we suggest you that do not get into any arguments and discussions about football and religion.
Weather is not predictable of Scotland. The best time to visit Scotland is between May and September and even then there are no guarantees that it will be warm and would not rain. Unlike in England, the bad weather means mist, dark clouds and rain has a unique charm of its own against the dramatic backdropes of the Scottish mountains.
Scotland’s fine Scotch malt whisky is produced in distilleries in some of the most picturesque settings, close to the natural ingredients on which their unique flavour depends. So, when you go on the malt whisky trail, you do not just discover whisky but also the best Scotland has to offer Highland scenery, beautiful coastline and attractive towns and villages.
